Cuddly Kiwi our visitor from Appleby School in New Zealand accompanied Year 3 to the Blackwood Miner's Institute Theatre in Blackwood this afternoon.
We went to see a performance of The Snowman by Raymond Biggs, it was performed by The Welsh Symphonia under the baton of Dr Keith Ellerington. Before the performance Kiwi met the narrator ( photograph) and was invloved in the creation of an instant artwork in front of the orchestra.
Walking in the air was eprformed by a local boy ( not from our school) with a beautiful voice. We hope that you enjoy this we certainly did - Cuddly Kiwi was thrilled by the performance.
